Tatyana Taranukha, MD, provides patient centered digestive health care, making sure her patients’ needs and concerns are listened to and addressed.
As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Taranukha provides general gastroenterological care for conditions including but not limited to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), peptic ulcer disease (PUD) and bleeds and motility disorders of the GI tract. She performs EGD, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy and has special interest in functional GI disorders and women’s GI health.
Dr. Taranukha earned her medical education at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She completed both her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. While in fellowship at MCW, Dr. Taranukha served as Chief GI Fellow.
Additionally, Dr. Taranukha has published numerous medical articles on topics including cyclic vomiting syndrome and viral hepatitis. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
In her free time, Dr. Taranukha enjoys spending time with her husband, children, dogs and friends. She loves gardening, traveling, spending time outdoors and being involved with her community.
