Dr. Lipscomb served as an Internist and Gastroenterologist in the Air Force for Nine years, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He moved to the Milwaukee area in 2001 after fulfilling his active duty obligation and joined this group of GI physicians. Dr. Lipscomb has published research articles and abstracts in multiple peer-reviewed medical journals, including Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and The American Journal of Gastroenterology. More recently, Dr. Lipscomb received the Outstanding Educator Award at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for “dedication to teaching residents,” 2001-2002. He is interested in all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He was voted in 2006 as one of the best GI Doctors in S.E. Wisconsin. Interests outside of medicine include running, boating, and watching one of the four children’s soccer games.
